Document Description
Twelve new grounding rods will be installed into the ground around the BVPP Switchyard. The work will not involve any vegetation clearance or excavation. The grounding rods will be installed outside of the switchyard, within 15ft from the fence line. An impact hammer will be used to drive the ½" rods into the ground. The new rods need to be installed because of worker safety concerns. Shocking is occurring when personnel are touching equipment.
