Document Description
Replace the hot water systems in the San Simeon Creek campground restrooms at Hearst San Simeon State Park to provide park visitors with improved facilities. Work will:
• Remove the existing water heaters, solar tanks, solar panels, and dumpster enclosures;
• Cut approximately 200 linear feet of the concrete sidewalk slab and up to 4 feet of the restroom 's foundation and excavate an 18 inch wide by 12 inch deep by 200 foot long trench;
• Install approximately 200 feet of 3/4-inch diameter poly gas pipe and use black steel stubs and fittings to complete gas line connections;
• Install new tank-less water heaters, ventilation systems and complete plumbing connections;
• Backfill the trench with the excavated soils, compact, and pour approximately 260 square feet of 4-inch thick concrete to repair the sidewalk cut and to enlarge the existing dumpster pads for the installation of four (4) new propane tanks; and
• Use pressure treated 6-inch x 6-inch posts and 6-inch x 8-foot fence.slats to reconstruct the existing dumpster enclosures to house the propane tanks.

located on the same site as the structure replaced and will have substantially the same purpose and capacity as the structure replaced; and the minor public or private
alterations in the condition of land, water, and/or vegetation which do not involve removal of healthy, mature, scenic trees except for forestry and agricultural purposes.
