Document Description
The Project includes replacement of deficient wastewater collection lines to ensure the health and safety of the community and the environment. The majority of the pipe replacements would occur within paved road rights-of-way (ROW). Work would occur outside of paved ROWs along Nugget Lane and immediately west of the Quincy Junior- Senior High School. At Nugget Lane, work would be conducted in the gravel road shoulder. A drainage ditch parallels Nugget Lane on the north side of the street. An existing sewer lateral extends under the ditch. The new lateral would be installed using a trenchless method (e.g., pipe-bursting, directional drilling, etc.), and no impacts to the ditch would occur.
