Pavement maintenance prevents higher cost maintenance repairs and ensures the highway operates in a serviceable condition. An asphalt rubber (AR) chip seal will be placed on the existing pavement. This includes paved shoulders, turn lanes and pull-out areas. Pavement markings will be replaced.
