Document Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) proposes to provide immediate service to replace a failed culvert on State Route (SR) 88 at postmile 21 .27 in Amador County. The scope of work for this location includes, but is not limited to: excavate the slope, and remove and replace the damaged 18" corrugated steel pipe section. reconstruct and compact the slope and place rock slope protection (RSP) fabric and a 1/4 ton of RSP and provide traffic control and perform all necessary work as directed by the Engineer. The purpose of this project is to urgently replace the failed culvert. The project is needed to prevent and mitigate the loss or impairment of life, property and essential services.
