Document Description
Complete improvements at the River Park office at Bidwell- Sacramento River State Park to provide improved facilities for park staff and a larger, secure area for state park equipment. Work will: • Remove up to two (2) large valley oaks and prune additional trees for access and safety; • Remove a 100' section of the existing east-west chain-link fence and a 12' wide pipe gate; • Excavate approximately 32, 1' by 2' holes, install new 1 O' metal posts set 2-3' in the ground and secure with concrete; • Install approx. 250' of new chain-link fencing, topped with triple strands of barbed wire and a new 20' wide double-swing gate to create an expanded yard ; • Remove an existing 100 amp electrical panel .and install an new 200 amp electrical panel; • Drain an existing 500 gallon propane tank and remove; • Demolish and remove two (2) modular trailers; and • Complete hookups for new electrical service.

Project consists of the minor alteration of existing public or private structures or facilities involving negligible or no expansion of use beyond current levels; the construction and location of a limited number of new, small facilities or structures included as "Utility repairs or minor upgrades" and "Construction or installation of park facilities, such fencing and gates" in the Department of Parks and Recreation's List of exempt activities, in accordance with CCR§ 15300.4; and the minor public or private alterations in the condition of land which do not involve the removal of healthy, mature, scenic trees.
