Document Description
This project involves a comprehensive tear-down and reinforcement/rebuild to extend the building's useful lifespan. Upgrades will be made to: fire and life-safety; accessibility; the building envelope; remove hazardous materials; replace the plumbing and heating; replace the air systems; replace the electrical, telecommunications and security systems; replace landscaping; and replace the elevators. The project will make the building safe while honoring the building's historic qualities. The project goal is to achieve Zero Net Energy and Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Silver certification.
