Document Description
The Tolowa Dee-ni' Nation is proposing to repair and expand their wastewater collection, treatment, and disposal system in Smith River. The project includes connecting Howenquet Village and Resort to the existing wastewater treatment facility behind Lucky 7 Fuel Mart via new sewer main connections along Lopez Road and Ocean View Drive. This would involve the installation of two new lift stations; one at HVR and one at APN 102-090-021 on Ocean View Drive, just north of Lopez Road. Technical repairs and improvements would be made to the wastewater treatment system and the existing on-site wastewater disposal ponds located south of HVR would be filled in.
