Document Description
Conditional Use Permit application No. 17-11 submitted by Pitman Family Farms proposes to expand an existing poultry farm of approximately 170,000 chickens to include an additional 120,000 chickens, for a new total of approximately 290,000 chickens. The project includes the construction of four new poultry barns which would be 54'-0" wide and 500'-0" in length. Currently, the site contains six poultry barns, an incinerator, one residence, one mobile home, a farm well and two well pressure tanks. The proposed expansion would result in a total of 10 poultry barns.
