Document Description
The Project would amend the adopted 2020 MND for an increase in capacity. The water diversion Porject will benefit the Arroyo Pasajero Mutual Water Company and the City of Huron for irrigated agriculture, municipal water supply, and flood relief by direct diversion and underground storage. The landowners will manage the water that ponds and infiltrates on their property and propose to install up to four portable temporary pumps (totaling 40.2 cfs maximum) at the three points of diversion (each approximately 400 square feet) for the distribution of water to percolate over additional existing bermed ponding areas.
