Document Description
The project proposes to divert water which reaches the Westside Detention Basin (WSDB) ponding area along the Aqueduct adjacent to Gale Avenue for the benefit of the Arroyo Pasajero Mutual Water Company and the City of Huron for irrigated agriculture, municipal water supply, and flood relief by direct diversion and underground storage. The landowners will manage the water that ponds and infiltrates on their property and propose to install up to four portable temporary pumps (totaling 20 cfs maximum) at the three points of diversion (each approximately 400 square feet) for the distribution of water to percolate over additional existing bermed ponding areas. 075-380-10ST, 078-020-54S, 078-041-01S, 078-041-02S, 078-130-29S, 078-130-24ST, and 078-130-28ST.
