Document Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will install steel column casings at six bents (piers). There will be a total of 12 columns with two columns per bent and six columns per bridge. In addition, the Project will remove the existing gabion mattresses and weir structures in Los Trancos Creek. A rock ramp and two pools will also be constructed to improve fish passage and restore the creek habitat. All seismic retrofit activities are to occur outside of the creek channel.
