Document Description
Graton Community Services District (Graton CSD), in partnership with Sonoma Water, is proposing to provide treatment, storage, and disposal of dry weather wastewater flows from Sonoma Water's Occidental County Sanitation District over a 10-year agreement period. Sonoma Water currently transports wastewater from the Occidental County Sanitation District to the Airport-Larkfield-Wikiup Sanitation Zone for treatment, storage, and reuse. The project would reduce transport costs and mobile source air emissions by reducing the length of wastewater transportation trips and would help stabilize Graton CSD sewer rates. The project would include the construction of a wastewater receiving station, concrete driveway pullout, retaining wall, and sewer lateral connection, all in the public right of way adjacent to Green Valley Road west of Highway 116 and Hicks Road.
