Document Description
The work consists of drilling approximately 23 holes for sampling to inform design of future levee .improvements for the ARCF 2016 Project. The holes would range from approximately 29 to 154 feet deep. Drilling would, occur on the crown and landside of the levee, and parking areas near the levee. Work would start mid-November and last approximately 4 weeks depending on site conditions.

The project consists of explorations that will not result in a major disturbance to an environmental resource. No woody vegetation would be removed. No in-water work. The project would not impact state or federally listed species. Borings will be back.fitted upon completion and the sites will be restored to pre-project conditions. A qualified archeological monitor will be present during all drilling activities. No mitigation is required.
