Document Description
The project proposes to construct a kindergarten playground on the Castano Elementary School campus. The playground would be constructed along the eastern campus boundary, between the existing school parking lot to the north and school athletic field to the south. The playground would include typical playground features ( e.g., play structures, benches, tables, and asphalt and turf play areas). All site improvements would occur within the boundaries of the existing Castano Elementary School campus. A portion of the proposed playground is within San Francisco Public Utilities Commission (SFPUC) Hetch Hetchy right-of-way. Therefore, the project requires an encroachment permit from the
SFPUC.
