The San Jose Conservation Corps are committed to removing the tires and will recycle or dispose of them as cost effectively as possible. The Program's contractor will remove any remaining tires and the solid waste at the site and will dispose of it as cost effectively as possible.

The Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery approved the remediation project on November 8, 2019, under the authority of Public Resources Code (PRC) §42846 et seq.
