Document Description
Replace two (2) bridges and construct two (2) minor trail realignments in Ano Nuevo State Park to improve year round access along the North Point Trail. Work will:
For Bridge #1 :
• Construct a new approximately 150 ft. x 541 wide trail segment;
• Excavate 30ft³ of soil to create mudsills and approaches;
• Construct two (2) 12" x 16" x T mudsills; ·
• Install one (1) 30' long x 5' wide aluminum bridge; and
• Construct two (2) 4 ft. long x 5' wide wood approaches at each end of the bridge.
For Bridge #2:
• Construct a new approximately 100 ft. x 4' wide trail segment;
• Excavate 30ft³ of soil to create mudsills and approaches;
• Construct two (2) 12''x16''x7' mudsills
• Install one (1) 30' long x 5' wide aluminum bridge; and
• Construct two (2) 4 ft. long x 5' wide wood approaches at each end of the bridge.
Utilize excavated sand (from trail construction) and native mulch and debris to aid in the decommissioning of the old trail.

Project consists of replacement or reconstruction of existing · structures and facilities where the new structure will be located on the same site as 'the structure replaced and will have substantially the same purpose and capacity as the structure replaced; the construction and location of limited numbers of new small facilities or structures; and the minor public alteration in the condition of land which does not involve the removal of healthy, mature, scenic trees, and is included as "signs" and "Trail Construction or realignment" in the Department of Parks and Recreation's list of exempt activities, in accordance with CCR § 15300.4.
