The San Diego Water Board issued a Clean Water Act section 401 water quality certification (Cert. R9-2021-0036) to the applicant to recontour and install riprap and an open cell articulated concrete block liner system to stabilize the southern bank of Paradise Creek at this location for the purpose of mitigating scour and erosion and improving flood conveyance. The project includes replacing the perimeter fencing and revegetating the project area with native vegetation.
