Document Description
Dam Safety Services staff will perform valve and gate exercises at the Bethany Forebay Dam outlet works. The Division of Safety of Dams (DSOD) requires that valves associated with low-level outlet works be exercised on an annual basis to verify the ability to dewater the reservoir. To avoid a sudden release of water to the drainage ditch, the conduit between both valves will require controlled low flow release of water and will be limited to 10 CFS. Staging will be on existing roadways. All work is within DWR right of way.
