Document Description
The Applicant proposes to build and operate a water treatment system to remove 1,2,3-TCP from the drinking water. This system includes two 12-foot diameter by 15-foot tall granular activated carbon (GAC) vessels, a 22-foot diameter by19-foot tall backwash tank, a 1,500 gallon per minute backwash pump station, a 100 square-foot chlorination building, a 1,125 square-foot concrete pad, and an emergency backup generator. An estimated 674-feet of four to 18-inch diameter piping will also be installed to connect the various components to the system. General site improvements will also include a paved driveway, double access gate, and perimeter fencing.
