The proposed project would renovate and improve an existing community park (Veterans Park) in downtown Marysville within the boundaries of the existing park. Improvements include new ADA-accessible sidewalks and paths, wayfinding signage and art. trellis structures, installation of safety lighting. planting of new landscaping and preservation of mature shade trees, construction of a small stage for public and local events, two children play spaces - one a playground with wood climbing structures. the other a music garden with fixed musical instruments, a Victorian-style picnic shade structure. installation of bike racks, art installations, six picnic tables, bar-b-ques and coal bin, drinking fountains, and waste receptacles.
