Document Description
The project consists of grading and stabilizing Doane Pond Road. The plan is to reestablish the out slope on the existing road by pulling the material on the downhill side and putting it back into the road where conditions permit. There are several locations on the road where the out slope is too steep. That material will be pulled down into the road or used in areas where fill is needed. No digging will be done under trees. Material such as decomposed woodchips and excess material from the road will be placed in the road under trees. Fill material will also be removed from the excess spoil pile (approximately 30' X 30' X 5' deep) near the reservoir and used in low laying areas of the road. Removal of the excess spoil pile will not go below natural area grade. Approximately 25 tons of 3' minus boulders will be brought in and placed in washed out area to stabilize the road.
