The Recipient will replace inefficient equipment with drop-in ready equipment at its flagship facility that will meaningfully modernize the facility, reduce energy consumption and GHG emissions, reduce operating costs, maintain product quality, prevent maintenance and equipment failure, and ensure that the Recipient remains competitive in global.markets. This is achieved by replacing oversized, inefficient boilers, the decentralizing of the steam generation system, and the adoption of new technologies to better generate, monitor, recapture, and reuse steam.
