Reasons for Exemption
The project involves landscaping that includes replacement of existing conventional landscaping with water efficient landscaping. The project also includes minor alterations to biking and hiking trails, and the removal of Valencia Street, all of which will involve grading with a slope of less than 10 percent. While the project will remove diseased or dead trees, there will be no removal of
healthy, mature trees.
