Document Description
The City of Sausalito's comprehensive General Plan was initially prepared in 1995. Since 1995, the Circulation and Parking Element was updated in 1999, the Housing Element was updated in 2012 and 2015, and the Health and Safety Element was updated in 2019. The Sausalito General Plan Update is a focused effort to refine the objectives, policies, and programs within the existing General Plan to reflect current regulations and help guide and shape the community over the next 20 years. As part of the update process, the objectives, policies, and programs of the Marinship Specific Plan have been incorporated into the Land Use and Growth Management, Waterfront, Community Design, Historic and Cultural Preservation, Circulation and Parking, Health, Safety, and Community Resilience, Sustainability, and Economic Elements.
