Document Description
The project is limited to installation of a private boat dock with a gangway and a landing. The dock encompasses a total of 372 square feet and will be an 18-foot by 34-foot u-shape constructed with an aluminum frame and a composite decking with encapsulated floatation. Installation of the dock will require pile driving of three (3) 14" steel piles with a barge-mounted pile driver. The 3-foot by 56-foot prefabricated aluminum gangway will be suspended above both levee and water and will encompass an area of 162 square feet. A 3-foot by 4-foot landing will be installed on the levee to anchor the gangway to shore; the landing will encompass an area of approximately 12 square feet. Four four- inch (4") piles will be installed in conjunction with the landing to allow the gangway to rise during flood conditions. The total area of dock, gangway, and landing installation is 432 square feet (0.01 acre).
