Document Description
Sediment has washed into the toe drain of Little Panache Creek Detention Dam, located. about 200 feet northwest of the dam's spillway. Approximately 40 cubic yards of sediment will be removed from the toe drain by DWR's San Luis Field Division {SLFD). After the sediment is removed, it will be placed adjacent to the toe drain, on the north side; this sediment will be graded to match the surrounding slope once work is complete. The sides of the toe drain will be recontoured and about 30 cubic yards of riprap, will be placed in the drain to prevent future erosion. Using hand tools, a screen on an existing pipe in the toe drain will be
removed so the pipe can be cleared of debris and sediment; the screen will be reinstalled when work is complete.
