Document Description
DWR will perform repairs to an embankment failure on the CA at MP 11 .27. The slide mass continues to move and requires immediate action to prevent the loss of water conveyance in the aqueduct. DWR will clear vegetation as necessary and remove unstable slide material and broken concrete panels for 120 feet. The existing slope will be graded to stabilize the embankment and the unstable access road will be rerouted. DWR will place geosynthetic fabric and rock over the rebuilt slope to provide erosion protection and monitoring equipment will be installed. All work is within DWR right of way.
