Document Description
Park Maintenance staff will remove the existing water treatment building, approximately (4'x4') at Vallecito Ranch and install a new nominally larger, approximately 6'x10' x8' high prefabricated building in the same location. The foundation will be a concrete slab. Approximately 2" of the soil surface will be removed so a portion of the slab will be below ground. We will be trenching an approximately 16" deep by 12" wide trench about 6' long from the existing electrical sub panel and control box support to the new building. All the electrical.and well control units will be moved to the inside of the new treatment building. The water line from the old plant to the reservoir will be dug up and moved back to accommodate the larger building.

If the project is implemented as indicated within the project description including conditions provided by CDPR specialists, then it is exempt under CEQA §15301 - Existing Facilities, CEQA §15303 - New Construction or Conversion of Small Structures, and §15304 - Minor Alterations to Land. The action falls under the Departmental List of Exempt activities according to CEQA §15300.4 as:
• ''Utility repairs or minor upgrades" {Class 1, Section 15301 ); • "Construction or installation of minor park facilities ... " (Class 3, Section 15303)
• ''Minor trenching and backfilling where the surface is restored" (Class 4, Section 15304)
