Document Description
The Project entails realignment of the BCID intake channel on the San Joaquin River and construction of a habitat partition to reduce fish entrainment in the intake and prevent sediment build up and the need for periodic dredging. The Project will lower the floodplain upstream of the intake to restore floodplain habitat that will benefit Chinook salmon (both spring and fall-run) and Central Valley Steelhead and support juvenile salmonid rearing needs.
