Document Description
The Project involves the removal of approximately 53,000 cubic yards of earth material to create 5.5 acres of high-quality rearing habitat for juvenile salmonids. The constructed features will function under a variety of flow conditions present on the lower Stanislaus River and will support a variety of ecological services, including salmonid rearing habitats, and improve water quality, including temperature and dissolved oxygen under low flow conditions. The State Lands Commission action is an approval of a 5-year General Lease – Public Agency Use through April 2, 2030.
