Restoration and enhancement work includes removal of wood slash deposited in waterways, removal of unpermitted rock in channels, rebuilding of damaged stream channels, revegetation of riparian areas with native plants, revegetation of upland sites with native plants, installation of erosion control and grade control measures,
replacement of existing energy dissipation rock with properly sized materials, reestablishment of removed wetlands, decommissioning of roads, recontouring of failed slopes, and improvement of drainage off of roads including the addition of ditch relief culverts outside of riparian habitat. No trees will be removed as part of this restoration project.
