Document Description
The proposed project will bring current fire sprinkler systems up to code for the Northern California Veterans Cemetery Memorial Building (Chapel). The water supply will also be upgraded at the Administration and Maintenance Buildings. Work shall include new 6" fire riser assembly, new 5" sprinkler cross mains, new 10" fire water supply, new diesel fire pump and enclosure. The existing fire sprinkler system will be replaced along with the electrical connections for the new fire pumps and fire alarm monitoring panel. Work will also involve approximately 700 LF of trench for a 10" water main from the existing water tank to the Chapel building. The trench would be approximately 4'x2' (depth x width).
