Document Description
The District removed an old fiberglass enclosure and gas chlorine system on a 15-foot2 pad at an existing booster station. Concrete was poured to increase the 15-foot2 pad to a 144-foot2 pad. A new calcium hypochlorite system and small 10-foot tall building to house the chlorination system was installed on the extended pad. From the six-inch well manifold, 70 feet of less than two-inch diameter piping was also installed to connect the freshwater line to the chlorinator and the chlorination tank to the injection point. The Project will provide for the operation of the system.
