Document Description
The project is limited to two encroachments. One encroachment is for stream bank stabilization on an unnamed tributary to Burr Creek. Work for this encroachment will include excavation, recontouring of the bank, and rock armoring as necessary to prevent erosion. The other proposed encroachment is for restoration of the stream channel following excavation for a small onstream pond. Work for this encroachment will include backfilling, recontouring, revegetation of the impacted area and implementation of erosion control measures.

Reasons for Exemption
This project is limited to two encroachments for minor grading associated with stream bank stabilization and restoration of the stream channel for habitat enhancement. There would be no significant adverse impact on endangered, rare or threatened species or their habitat pursuant to section 15065. There are no hazardous materials at or around the project site that may be disturbed or removed. The project will not result in impacts that are significant when viewed in connection with the effects of past projects, the effects of other current projects, and the effects of probable future projects.
