Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Streambed Alteration Agreement No. EPIMS-SBR-50287-R6, pursuant to Fish and Game Code section 1602 to the Project Applicant, LADWP. The Project involves establishing a set ground clearance of a minimum 25 to 30 feet between hanging transmission lines and ground or roads surfaces below. To meet this required vertical clearance, the Project Applicant will grade the ground or road surface below the wires to gain the required clearance. The Project Applicant will grade approximately 2.3-5.4 ft in depth to create the required vertical clearance. The excess soil obtained by grading will be stored onsite and spread along access roads within the Right-of-Way no further than 500 feet from either side of the work location and no more than 8 inches in depth.
