Caltrans proposes to reduce the number and severity of collisions at the intersection of Highway 101 and Wellsona Road in San Luis Obispo County. The intersection is experiencing severe collisions relating to drivers not yielding the right-of-way, including broadside and left-turn merge-related collisions. The project will construct an undercrossing south of Wellsona Road at post mile 61.88 and add new frontage roads to connect the undercrossing to Wellsona Road.
