Note: Reference SCH# 2009072094. Caltrans, in partnership with the Napa Valley Transportation Authority (NVTA), proposes to reconfigure the existing intersection (Soscol Junction) of State Route (SR) 29 and SR 221 /Soscol Ferry Road in Napa County from a signalized intersection to a full diamond interchange, with two roundabout intersections on either side of SR 29. This proposed project is to improve traffic operations to alleviate congestion between Napa Valley and towards Interstate 1-80 and Route 37. Bicycle, and pedestrian access is proposed to improve connectivity between existing bicycle and pedestrian access on 29 and 221.
