Document Description
The California Energy Commission (CEC) is proposing to amend the regulation and definition of general service lamps to align with the federal standard. This would set the minimum efficiency standard of general service lamps to 45 lumens/watt in California. This new regulation would be effective on or after January 1, 2020. This new standard is meant to reduce electricity consumption in general service lamps with no significant change in the manufacturing process.
