This is a routine maintenance project to upgrade existing roadway facilities and ensure public safety; Work consists of: cold plane Asphalt Concrete (AC) pavement and placing a 0.10' RHMA (Gap Graded) overlay, replacing AC dike with imported borrow, replacing traffic loops, installing rumble strip. placing pavement delineation, replacing Meta] Beam Guardrail (MBGR) with the Midwest Guardrail System at existing locations, placing additional shoulder backing on existing shoulder backing, and adding a transition anchor block to the Southbound structure of Route 200/100 separation.

The project is maintenance and updating of an existing facility - SR 101 to maintain the roads in proper working condition and ensure safety of the traveling public. There will be no change in the use of the facility or unusual circumstances. There are no impacts or significant effects to environmental resources or cultural/historical resources, and standard project practices will be implemented to ensure compliance will all applicable laws.
