Document Description
DTSC has approved a Class 1 * Permit Modification to the Hazardous Waste Facility Permit for Safety-Kleen Systems, Inc. Fresno Branch. The modification will authorize the installation of two new soil gas monitoring wells to be placed in the existing paved parking lot of the facility. The results from the soil gas monitoring well samples will determine if any further decontamination actions should be performed as part of the facility's closure. Additionally, the modification will authorize the extension of the closure period from December 2018 to December 2019. Pursuant to authority granted under CCR, Title 22, Chapter 14, article 7, 66264.113(b), DTSC may grant the extension through a permit modification.
