Document Description
South Coast Water District (District) owns and operates Reservoir 2C located at 32016 Isle Vista, Laguna Niguel. Reservoir 2C is an aboveground steel welded tank. The project includes: removal and replacement of the existing interior lining and exterior coating; modifications to inlet and outlet piping; and, construction of seismic cross bracing roof rafters, sidewall manway access, and other features. The recoating, modifications, and maintenance work is scheduled for March 2020 through July 2020.
A paved driveway provides site access from Isla Vista into the paved area where Reservoir 2C is located. Project construction work will be within the fenced Reservoir 2C site and will not impact vehicle parking on Isla Vista. Project work hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday, excepting legal holidays. Reservoir 2C will be taken out of service during the recoating, modifications, and maintenance project.
The maintenance staging area and parking for construction vehicles will be on-site and within the reservoir facility security fence.
