Reasons for Exemption
Section 15303-Class 3 A new single-family residence and.appurtenant accessory structures, including a garage, patio deck, fencing, and associated landscape and hardscape improvements are proposed to be constructed. Single-family residences and appurtenant accessory structures are allowed per sub-sections (a) and (e) of Section 15303. The project will not result in any of the exceptions to the list of categorical exemptions identified in Section 15300.2 because the project will not result in an impact on an environmental resource of hazardous or critical concern where designated, precisely mapped, and officially adopted pursuant to law by federal, state or local agencies. There is no such designated, mapped, or officially adopted environmental resource or hazard or critical concern. The site has been developed with a single-family residence since the 1950's and is largely disturbed. A site-specific Geotechnical Report was prepared and revealed no significant impacts.
