The purpose of the project is to replace an existing 30 HP diesel manure pump on a dairy with a 15 HP electric manure pump. A new 10' x 10' concrete pad will be installed to support the new pump along with relevant appurtenances.

Reasons for Exemption
This project is being funded through a grant from the State Water Resources Control
Board to reduce pathogens in the Sonoma Creek Watershed. The project that is
being implemented is the replacement of an existing manure pump (Class 2 - Cat
Ex) and constructing a minor concrete pad to support the pump (Class 3 - Cat Ex).
