The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2019-0167-R3, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, RMC Pacific Materials, LLC/CEMEX. The proposed project will remove a failing1 2-inch diameter corrugated metal culvert and replace it with a rock lined open channel. The propose project will prevent sediment from entering Zayante Creek and help protect downstream steelhead habitat.
