Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Stream bed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2018-0047-R4, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Chevron North America Exploration and Production. The Project is limited to reoccurring vegetation maintenance, oil spill containment berm maintenance, and emergency boom anchor maintenance activities with the Salinas River and to Sargents Creek systems to facilitate safe operations within an active oil drilling facility.

The Project will occur in and adjacent to the Salinas River and Sargents Creek as they run through the San Arda Oil Field, about four miles south of the Community of San Arda in Monterey County, California, USGS 7.5 Minute Quadrangle Maps Wunpost and Hames Valley, MOB & M; Latitude 35.940329°N, Longitude -120.868476°W, downstream (northward) to Latitude 35.969111 °N, Longitude -120.889483°W (Salinas River) and Latitude 35.951006°N, Longitude -120.862447°W, downstream (westward) to Latitude 35.949593°N, Longitude -120.87 4071 °W (Sargents Creek).
