Document Description
The project consists of replacement of the existing Brow #4 over the water and minor alteration and reconstruction of an existing stair structure to add an elevator to it to improve boarding/loading efficiency to the museum. This includes adding a new reinforced concrete elevator pit within the pier, above the mean higher high water line. A debris/isolation platform will be installed to the underside of the deck prior to construction of the elevator pit and include a debris net of fine mesh on top of the platform to contain fine, small, or light debris. A silt curtain will be deployed by the contractor and affixed to the underside of the deck.
