Document Description
The Department of Water Resources of the State of California (DWR) will deliver of up to 1,150 acre-feet of Littlerock Creek Irrigation District's (LCID) approved 2019 State Water Project (SWP) Table A water to Antelope Valley-East Kern Water Agency's (AVEK) temporary diversion facility at approximately Milepost 366.53 in Reach 22B of the California Aqueduct's East Branch (Big Rock Creek Siphon Temporary Turnout). The Big Rock Creek Siphon Temporary Turnout directly feeds into an adjudicated groundwater basin in the Antelope Valley region (Adjudicated
Antelope Valley Groundwater Basin), which LCID can store its SWP water supplies in and recover later using its own pumping wells for use in its service area. The delivery of LCID's approved 2019 SWP Table A water to Big Rock Creek Siphon Temporary Turnout shall be completed by December 31, 2019.
