Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2019-0075-R4, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Southern California Edison. The Project includes activities related to rehabilitation of the Eastwood Visitor Information Site as required by a Settlement Agreement and USDA-FS 4(e); conditions developed during the Big Creek Alternative Licensing Process (ALP) for the Big Creek Nos. 1 and 2 Project which is currently undergoing relicensing by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERG). The rehabilitation includes the replacement of a culvert and outfall reinforcement, as well as the FERG required bank stabilization needed to repair damaged and undercut portions of the banks along the Portal Powerhouse Discharge Channel to prevent erosion and improve public safety.

The Project will not have significant environmental impacts if it is completed under the protective features of Streambed Alteration, Agreement No. 1600-2019-0075-R4.
