Silicon Valley Power (SVP) is proposing to install one approximately 206-foot-long 60kV transmission line, consisting of a total of six electrical cables, across a portion of San Tomas Aquino Creek. The line would be connected to power utility poles constructed outside of Valley Water property. As part of the Laurelwood project, the project is seeking an Encroachment Permit and Aerial Easement from Valley Water to
install one 60 kilovolt transmission line.
